8 Life-Changing Habits TO TAKE INTO THE NEW YEAR

  1. Go on a mini trip every 4 months.

There’s a study published in The Washington Post, proving that the perfect vacation length is 8 days. Campus90 is always a great choice!

Here’s a hack for you! Take advantage of the public holidays coming in May and use only one day of paid leave off work to make up a total of 6 days off. 😉

  1. Join Reforma!

We all know how important exercise is, but here’s the science behind it. An article on the National Library of Medicine’s website shows the advantages of physical exercises.

“It has been shown that exercise can improve attention, focus, memory, cognition, language fluency, and decision-making for up to two hours. Researchers state that regular physical activity improves the functioning of the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, lowering cortisol secretion and restoring the balance of leptin and ghrelin.”

With up to 2 hours of free parking at Campus90 and the state-of-the-art equipment in Reforma, you’d be crazy not to join the newest gym in Varna.

P.S.: Your membership includes free access to a digital coach app specific to our machines!

  1. A cocktail night out twice a month at C90 bar with friends.

Studies have proven that socializing can increase levels of dopamine.

Susan Pinker shares – “Face-to-face contact releases a whole cascade of neurotransmitters and, like a vaccine, they protect you now, in the present, and well into the future, so simply […] shaking hands, giving somebody a high-five is enough to release oxytocin,  which increases your level of trust, and it lowers your cortisol levels, so it lowers your stress.”

She adds that, as a result of social interaction, “dopamine is [also] generated, which gives us a little high and it kills pain, it’s like a naturally produced morphine.”

The cocktails at C90 Bar are a welcome bonus. Plus you won’t be breaking those health resolutions as we make most of the ingredients for our cocktails in house (apart from spirts, but hey you can always ask for the virgin option)!

  1. Change your workplace once in a while and opt for co-working.

It’s a great way to meet new people and increase your motivation at work!

We often get stuck in our routines – same place, same people, same environment. That’s when the dreadful Mondays come in and your motivation plummets.

Switch it up a little and get excited about next Monday, just book your spot in the coolest co-working space in Varna to bring back your spark.

  1. Try something new once a month.

Subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date with our events. We organize events for tasting coffee and whiskey, making candles, etc.

“If you engage in a new skill, you’re going to thicken the brain’s prefrontal cortex,” says Buttimer, who has great contributions to history and philosophy of science. “As you develop a new skill, you’ll gain courage and confidence, which helps you override fear and anxiety. You’ll feel more empowered.” It keeps you healthy.

We organize so many different events. From coffee workshops to candlemaking and wine degustations, every month you can learn or experience something brand new. Sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date.

  1. Work remote this summer.

Are you tired of staying in your office all summer long whilst all your friends are on the beach? Here’s how you can do it too in 2024.

Book our budget friendly single NOMAD room for at least a month. Work from our co-working or in the comfort of your own room during the day and after you log off head straight to the beach (it’s only a nice 15 min walk!).

  1. Celebrate the special moments.

An article in Healthyplace.com proves the benefits of this – “Celebrating things big and small has a substantial impact on the brain and overall mental health. When we celebrate here and there, we experience temporary boosts in mood and mental wellbeing. When we celebrate little things in little ways as a daily habit, we make those mental health boosts long-lasting. The act of celebrating teaches your brain to think and pay attention differently. The human brain has a built-in negativity bias that causes anxiety.”

For those special small moments, reward yourself with a great cocktail at C90 bar.

But for those big moments make sure you book the C360 – our Panoramic Rooftop Terrace.

  1. Take Action, be the Boss –

An article on the site LifeHack.org shows the benefits of taking action – “Going after what you truly want takes more than just wanting it. It means putting together a step-by-step system to turn those big goals into doable actions.

Transform inspiring ideas into reality through building the right habits. When you line up small wins day after day, they build the runway to lift off towards destinations you set for yourself.

As repeating focused actions gets more natural, you start reshaping your life’s path automatically. Your goals become self-propelling because your patterns do the work for you.”

A step closer to success is making sure you book your conference or seminar space early at Campus 90.
